    zOOt TheATre ComPAnY, a fresh collective of local artists presents their first independent production on the IMpacT Series on March 27th & 28th, 2009 at the Mathile Theater in the Schuster Center. zOOt TaLes: A Canterbury Journey is a modern look at the 14th century Chaucer work told by the zOOt Story Finders. Masks and puppets designed and constructed by zOOt members will bring a touch of magic as two improsoned knights vie for the hand of the king's daughter, a rooster ponders the meaning of his dreams, a devious Pardoner speaks on sin, and an arrogant knight searches for the answer to the queen's demand.

In the heart of the Ozark Mountains, ten year old Billy Coleman saves dimes and pennies until he can afford his very own pair of hunting dogs. He teaches Old Dan and Little Ann everything they need to know about raccoon hunting and the hounds end up teaching Billy about friendship, faith and, in the end, the true meaning of sacrifice.
